Fitting adhesive weights in cold temperatures

The “all weather” adhesive tape (615C) can be fitted on wheel temperatures down to -10 degC. Tapes used by OE companies are designed to be applied at factory temperatures and may not retain well when fitted on cold wheels.

605E Universal Adhesive Strip – 60g

The same size as the popular 610E but in 5g segments only. 3.8mm high x 20mm wide. Also available in a 5Kg roll.

610E Universal Adhesive Strip – 60g

Our most popular weight. An easy to use quality strip weight ideal for general tyre shop and garage use. Slimline in shape, the weight has a good level of corrosion resistance to meet most requirements. 3.8mm high x 20mm wide.

615C Premium Universal Adhesive Strip – 60g. Plastic coated.

The same size as the popular 610E adhesive weight but with:-

Superior “all weather” tape made in EU)

Superior corrosion resistance. (Plastic coated)

The “all weather” tape gives stronger adhesion at lower temperatures enabling a higher level of grip on fitment when wheels are cold.

Particularly recommended for fitment during cold weather and high road salt levels. Also available in a 5Kg roll (5g only), part number 616-500-SP01.

620E Extra Slimline Adhesive Strip 2.8mm high – 40g

An extra slimline 2.8mm high weight recommended for use where caliper clearance is a problem.
19mm wide.

630E Standard Adhesive Strip - 60g
(for cars and motorcycles)

A 4.8mm high strip weight to be used where brake caliper clearance is not a problem. Only 15mm wide, this weight is also ideal as a universal weight for motorcycles.

635C Black Adhesive Strip – 60g
(for cars and motorcycles)

A black plastic coated adhesive strip ideal for
black alloy wheels which are becoming more

680C Heavy Duty Adhesive Strip – 100g Truck & 4x4

Made from steel, this heavy duty weight has replaced the Trax^® series 850 100g which was made from lead. Ideal for where heavy adhesive weights are required – eg 4x4 and truck. Plastic coated for high levels of corrosion resistance. OE quality tape for high adhesion of this heavy weight.
